Subject: 18873/Conduct Sampling-Rain Storms/US Geo Survey Date: Fri, 4 Jan 1991 10:41:00 -0500 RESOLUTION NO. 18873 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A PROPOSAL FROM THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR GEOLOGICAL SURVEY TO CONDUCT SAMPLINGS OF RAIN STORMS, WITH THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA'S SHARE TO BE ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-SIX THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED NINETY AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($126,290.00) AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ANY AND ALL DOCUMENTS WITH RESPECT TO SAID PROPOSAL. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby accepted a proposal from the United States Department of the Interior Geological Survey to conduct samplings of rain storms to determine the stormwater runoff quality in Chattanooga with the City of Chattanooga's share to be $126,290.00 and matching federal funds to be $126,290.00, for a total amount of $252,580.00; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to execute any and all documents with respect to said proposal.
